Jeanie Marie Buss, an American businesswoman from America. she is currently president and controlling shareholder of the Los Angeles Lakers National Basketball Association. A California native, Buss was raised in an affluent family. Jerry Buss' father was an entrepreneur in real estate who was later a part owner of the Lakers along with various other sports organizations. After her parents divorced in 1972 She began feeling emotionally abandoned. In 1972, at age 19 she started working in the family business. Then, she established the Los Angeles Blades roller hockey professional team. She was president of the Great Western Forum, before becoming the Vice President for the Lakers. Buss was the inheritor of the Lakers from her father in the year 2013. Her five siblings were the inheritors through a family estate trust. She assumed the office as the President of the Los Angeles Lakers. Buss is also the co-founder of Women of Wrestling a pro-wrestling promotion that is based in Los Angeles.
